Company

The Sdad. Coop. Ltda Taxis Isla Verde “Rent a Car Isla Verde” was created in June 1995. It was formed initially by 5 partners, all taxi drivers from the towns of Villa de Mazo and B. Baja and it started with one employee and 20 vehicles. They managed the radio taxis of both towns and the activity of the rental cars. In 1999, the company separated and started as a family business, registering under the name Autos Isla Verde.

In August 2010 Isla Verde Bikes was created for the sale, rent and repair of bicycles.

In March 2012 the company opened its doors in the tourist complex of Las Olas (Los Cancajos), where our office is based and we sell car accesories and spare parts, motorbikes and bicycles. That same year we were the first company on the Canary Islands to have a 100 % electric rental car.

In 2014 we started the sale and rent of motorbikes with different engine capacitys from 125 to 500 cc offering so more services to our clients under the name Isla Verde Bikes & Motorcycle.

In June 2015 we celebrated our companys 25th anniversary. Twenty-five years of commitment to our loyal customers, who have made our company slowly grow to a business with nine employees and a hundred vehicles of all brands and models, half a docen motorbikes and twenty bicycles, its own infrastructures of office, garage and workshop in order to satisfy the existing demand.
